Packaging design for a Peruvian chocolatier

This is a conceptual project developed to showcase our creative approach and strategic thinking.

Death by Xoko is a conceptual premium chocolate brand developed to explore the intersection of cultural heritage, storytelling, and contemporary packaging design.

Inspired by the rich history of Peruvian chocolate, the concept draws from traditional Inca patterns and the vibrant colours of Peru’s landscapes. These elements form the foundation of a visual identity that translates cultural references into a modern, luxury aesthetic.

The brand is positioned as an elevated chocolate experience, celebrating exceptional quality and distinctive ingredients such as quinoa and Peruvian coffee. The visual language combines bold colour compositions, expressive illustrations, and modern typography, creating a strong and recognisable shelf presence.

Storytelling is embedded throughout the packaging design, referencing the origins and cultural significance of Peruvian chocolate. The result is a cohesive brand concept that demonstrates how art direction and packaging design can create emotional connection and cultural depth within a premium product.
